I am a Knowledge Transfer Associate working as part of the Digital Knowledge Exchange (DKE) project at the Universiy of Teesside. The key areas I work in include social informatics, e-learning, social inclusion and requiremnts elicitation. Additionally I am in the final stages of writing up my PhD. I am studying my PhD within the Accessibility Research Centre (ARC) also at the University of Teesside. The PhD study focuses upon the design of an adaptable and accessible symbols based virtual learning environmnet for young adults with severe learning disabilities.
