Learning design :: Blog :: More work in LD

June 13, 2007

Dai griffiths gives a great overview of new developments around IMS LearningDesign (http://emerge.elgg.org/design/weblog/504.html)

As main developers of OpenDocument.net, RayCom is not only working with the DesignShare project to build a link between the Reload LD Editor and OpenDocument.net, but we're also cooperating with Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona to create a link between OpenDocument.net and SLeD server.

The idea is that users can load a Unit of Learning (UoL) in a remote SLeD server for a test run, from within the OpenDocument.net repository system.

With this we come one step closer to having an integrated environment in which we can

create and design,
edit and adapt,
find and retrieve,
store and share,
run and deploy

Units of Learning.
