How do we hack this two blog thing?

My 'other blog' is at elgg, sorry eduspaces, and I am not quite sure what to do with this one so I thought I would point you to any relevant posts over at http://eduspaces.net/francesbell/weblog/: 

Any tips on integrating Emerge blog with home blog?  Please let me know via comments.

  1. Hi Frances - it's very easy to just export your feed here. Several of the Emerge community members - for example, Scott Wilson, are blogging in their own space but aggregating their content to this site. 

    1. Hit the Your Feeds button in the Elgg nav bar (the one that runs across the top of the site)
    2. put your feed url in the subscription box (make sure you get your feed url and not just your site address - yours is http://elgg.net/francesbell/weblog/rss)
    3. Hit post to blog & you're done! 

    Old posts woun't be retrospectively published, but all your new posts will be sent across.

  2. Thanks so much Josie.  All done now.

    I am getting lots of good ideas for the KAN project.  Hope you didn't mind me testing the flickr pool with a tangential reference to Emerge - James Clay has followed suit.

  4. Wait till you get to the KAN steering Group meeting.  We have some very crazy ideas for photo competitions, but all in the best possible taste.
