I am not sure I am able to join you f2f, but I sure would like to join the online social network.
Hi Frances, this looks really interesting although ufortunately I am unable to attend. I am especially interested in the ' Research into Social Networking Workshop' as I am currently in a collaboration at Manchester Uni looking at securing funding to run a social network here (prob ELGG) and we would be looking to provide some qualitative and (perhaps) quantitative data about the project.
The second workshop is also of interest as part of our bid is look at social networking in terms of reducing isolation and increasing participation with p/t Post Grads and Post grads working at some distance from the institution.
Any feedback, (slides, blog etc) would be greatly appreciated.
