Oh yes - emerging sounds has now made it to the front page tag cloud. And here is todays edition.

I am delighted to feature Ben Werdmuller who I have known for almost a year now. Ben is always fun to work with and generous with his time and advice. And - for those of you who don't know - along with Dave Tosh, Ben developed the ELGG applciation which powers this community platform. 

A quick techy moment - a few people have been asking em what we use to make the podcasts. the list of gear goes like this (though I am sure we don't need so much - it is just I can never resist a new toy).

• Samson USB microphone
• Skype with Eacomm Sound recorder plug in
• iPod with XtremeMac Micromemo unit and Toshiba microphone
• Garage Band
• Audacity
• ITunes

We are having to downgrade the quality a little at the moment becuase there is a 8 MB limit on file upload seems its a setting in Apache which hopefully will get changed. Oh - yes - if anyone has any ideas how I can stream content into the Emerge site from other sites be very grateful.
