Ine of the issues which continually comes up in discussions about the use of new technologyf or learning is taht of assessment. There appears to be a growinga wareness of teh need to develop and test new forms of assessment. When I was at the Scandinavian e-Portfolio  confernce in Copenhagen I talked with Anne Kristin Sjo who works as a research fellow at Stord/Haugesund University College Her research field is mostly centred around ICT, learning and assessment in a socio-cultural framework and she has been leading a research  and development project piloting the use of new forms of assessment for nurse education in Norway. I interviewed her over skype. Well worth a listen.
