We're collecting user engagement stories - it'll only take 5 mins. I've just been in the participatory technologies online session where we had 4 great mini case studies of pedagogic uses of web2.0. As Jim pointed out, they all showed unanticipated outcomes - the problem as initially defined, did'nt define the outcomes and behaviours emerged. I'm wondering whether in our engagement with users in Emerge projects we are finding the same thing - we're getting something valuable, but it is not necessarily what we expected to get. It would be great exchange experience and hear people's stories, at http://vle.jiscemerge.org.uk/mod/wiki/view.php?id=207, or discuss thoughts at http://vle.jiscemerge.org.uk/mod/forum/view.php?id=233
Cheers
