I have a varied background in teaching and research having worked in School, FE, HE and the NHS. I have previously worked as a biomedical scientist working on medical research projects and as a clinical skills teacher. I have always had an interest in technology and gadgets and their use in education, most recently working with m-learning and e-portfolios.
I am currently Director of the Faculty of Health Learning Technology Unit at Leeds Met which provides support and training for academic staff in all aspects of technology enhanced learning in Health.
Am also involved in a number of JISC projects and the ALPS CETL as a teaching fellow.
