To attend a request from the Salford Users & Development Group meeting, some functionality has been added to complement the 'contents' Search capabilities of the ELGG application. A 'Social Software' is oriented to 'Who' rather than 'What', but to conform to the new expected phase of the Emerge project, content needs to be accesible in any posible form.
Now, at the end of each blog there are two lines for Keywords
View Keywords: Emerge
Search Keywords: Emerge
- 'View Keywords' links to a rearranged resume for that specific TAG, showing every post-title and 'social' information (WHO).
- 'Search Keywords' links to every blog summaries under that TAG (WHAT).
The second line is not an elegant solution, however the guidelines are for 'adding' functionality to the ELGG platform rather than 'changing' functionality. Plus there is a certain 'momentum' in the ELGG community with expected changes/releases towards a maturity phase soon.
