Hi everyone

I am a senior lecturer in medical education - and also a part time (very) GP - at the University of Leeds. I am the School of Medicine's academic lead for e-learning.

I am the co-odinator of my team - bringing colleagues with similar interests together across other Faculties and the central University VLE team

I really like Wikipedia. Sure it sounds naff but I find the information on new technology up to date and informative. I think it provides a useful example to sceptics on the power of web 2.0 - user generated content and an audit trail of who says what and when

I am looking forward to meeting everyone next week

Best wishes

John
