I'm a fairly new member of the LIVE CETL (Lifelong and Independent Veterinary Education - Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning phew!) at the Royal Veterinary College in London. I trained at the RVC and have now returned (on the 'other side'!). We are joining Emerge as an existing CoP (the Bloomsbury consortium of colleges) and I hope to bring in some of my experiences of eLearning in Medicine and Veterinary over the past 18 years or so. I also hope to learn about others work and interests and to explore communities and their success! My current favourite web based application is anything that encourages meaningful learning and deeper approaches to study - so Web 2.0 encapsulates some of this. I'm especially interested in the development of a learning organisation.
