April 23, 2008

Good morning everyone! It's day one of our three day online conference: Digital Identities and Digital Communities. We'll be kicking off at 10.30 and leading into a pretty amazing programme, which today includes our conference keynote from George Siemens at 11pm: Technology and Community as Identity.

Direct link to George's session: http://elluminate.jiscemerge.org.uk/join_meeting.html?meetingId=1208709143359

At 1pm theres an essential session for everyone currently using the Emerge platform - a senario planning workshop which will enable us to take some big disicions about the future of the platform. If you have an account here, you should be in this session!

at 2.30 we have the first of our project led slots: Using participatory technologies in education, delivered by the Pattern Language Network members.

The tag for the conference is jiscemerge0408 - please be sure to include this in the keyworrd or tag field of your conference blog posts, pictures and resources!
