On 5, 6 and 7 June we will be hosting the Emerge online activity days.
The aims for the online activity days are:
- For community members to share ideas, expertise and expectations
- To explore the Users and Innovation Development Model (UIDM) processes and elicit expertise from the wider community
- To recognise and make explicit community scaffolding – so that we can begin to take it down
- To develop Community Generated Activities, online, offline and blended
- To engage with the project development process
The programme for the online activity days will be built around four themes:
- Community Building – led by Josie Fraser
- Success Criteria – Led by George Roberts and Lawrie Phipps
- Users & Innovation Development Model – led by Chris Fowler
- Problem Spaces in education– led by Stephen Warburton
The activity days will be hosted in a virtual conference venue composed of four elements:
- Online conference “Webinar” rooms
- Moodle Topics and discussions
- SecondLife simulations
- Emerge Elgg community showcases
The Emerge Events wiki and the Emerge Blogs will be used for gathering and disseminating information and ideas.
Evening social events will take place in SecondLife. Pre-conference preparation and materials will be available shortly.
If you have questions or input for any of the streams, please do contact the stream leader directly.
