Planet: Pattern Language Network :: Blog :: Web 2.0 in Reflective Learning .... tell us your experiences

May 30, 2008

The Planet project is exploring ways of capturing and representing successful practice in the use of Web 2.0 in learning. As part of this we are running a series of workshops asking practitioners to meet together and explore examples of practice to identify what worked and what didn’t. These discussions will be “seeded” with brief case studies provided by participants (via our new Wiki platform) and will lead eventually to patterns of good practice which everyone can share and use.
Our second Planet workshop will be held in Leeds on June 9th on the subject of "Using Web 2.0 for Reflective Learning". If you have experience in this area we would like you to participate. The workshop is free and will run from 12 to 4 with lunch provided. Before the workshop you will be asked to contribute a short case study. Afterwards you will be invited to continue to refine the patterns identified through ongoing discussion on our Wiki platform.
If you would like to join us, or would like more information, please email me (j.finlay@leedsmet.ac.uk) by June 4th and I will let you know what to do next. I hope to see you there!
