This is a new feature that will allow much more complex shapes to be created in Second Life.
This could offer some interesting new opportunities for the sort of scientific simulations that Ken Kahn mentioned in his recent post. For us arty types, it's like someone has just announced the invention of clay, when all we've had up to now is dry gravel and spit.
I'm so excited I think I might explode.
