What can the massively multiplayer game ‘World of Warcraft’ teach us about how to facilitate learning communities in HE? How might this relate to a project for emerge?   1. Great video. I recognise the bit about providing structure on f2f course, then dismantling it as the course progresses. I wonder what this sort of initial stucture might look like in a MUVE? Would the design of the 3D environment provide the structure required, or would a web 2.0 type thing be central? Plenty of food for thought. Look forward to discussing these ideas at the August meeting.
